At Last!: The club rib - Sea Wasp - is back in the water. After a lengthy period out for sponson repairs, the rib was lifted into the water at Methil Docks on Tuesday night 8th July. With 6 on board, it was taken for a short spin to give the engine a good run. With a dead flat sea, the ride was incredibly smooth. It also gave the chance to check out some dive sites suitable for trainees. At one point, she was flying over the water at 34 knots with the throttle not fully open.
Next Dives: Now that the rib is back in the water, the next few dives will hopefully be more varied. Thursday 10th July is the next dive at 7pm. The plan is to dive on Buckhaven reef and give the trainees another experience. At the weekend, other sites will be considered, weather permitting.
Fund Raising: In an effort to boost funds, the club has taken on a new venture and attended two car boot sales recently. These have proved to be very successful and we look forward to the next dates. Many thanks to Sandy, Kelly, Mike, Laura and others who donated items for sale.
