Diving

Diving takes place all along the Fife coastline and further afield into the Forth to the Isle of May and the Bass Rock. Frequent trips to the west coast are also organised, especially Loch Long and Loch Fyne. Oban is another favourite destination, especially the wrecks in the Sound of Mull such as the Rondo, Thesis, Hispania, Shuna and Breda.

In 1998 some club members also took a trip to Menorca which had a fabulous variety of diving. Individually, club members have also dived as part of their family holidays in some very flung places: Cyprus, Belize, Malta, Majorca, Australia, Egypt, Maldives and Thailand.

Quite simply, learning to dive in Scotland will prepare you to dive anywhere in the world!

Club RIB

The club's biggest physical asset is a 6.3m Northcraft rib, Sea Wasp, powered by a 150hp Mercury engine. The rib carries VHF DSC Radio, GPS Sat Nav, Sounding Sonar, emergency oxygen and has enough space to carry 8 fully kitted divers and 1 crewman.

With enough fuel it can get us anywhere in the Forth. Towing it on it's trailer means we can take it to any other location and launch to many other divesites.
